Copyright

© 2026 NexByteLab (Srinivas). All Rights Reserved.

Unless otherwise credited or stated, all original written content, articles, research briefs, illustrations, diagrams, graphics, code samples, tutorials, experiments, original data presentations, and other original material published on NexByteLab.com are the copyrighted work of the author.

NexByteLab respects the intellectual property rights of researchers, authors, developers, educators, organisations, and members of the wider technology community. We expect visitors and users of this Website to do the same.

1. What You May Do

You’re welcome to quote a short and reasonable excerpt from NexByteLab for purposes such as commentary, review, discussion, education, academic reference, or criticism, subject to applicable law.

Where NexByteLab material is quoted or referenced, please provide:

  • clear credit to NexByteLab and, where identified, the author;
  • the title of the original article or resource where practical; and
  • a direct link to the original article on NexByteLab.com when the use is online.

Quoting a limited excerpt does not grant permission to reproduce an entire article, illustration, diagram, tutorial, research brief, code collection, or other substantial portion of a work.

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict uses independently permitted by applicable copyright law.

2. What Requires Prior Permission

Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or by a licence expressly attached to particular material, you may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, commercially exploit, or substantially copy NexByteLab content without prior written permission.

This includes reproducing or redistributing complete or substantially complete:

  • articles and research briefs;
  • tutorials and educational material;
  • original illustrations, diagrams, and infographics;
  • downloadable resources;
  • original research or experiments;
  • original tables and data presentations; or
  • substantial collections of original code samples.

This restriction applies to republication through websites, blogs, newsletters, publications, applications, content repositories, commercial products, or other distribution channels.

Removing an author’s name, copyright notice, watermark, attribution, or other identifying information does not remove the underlying intellectual-property rights.

3. AI Training, Machine Learning and Automated Content Collection

NexByteLab supports responsible research and the advancement of artificial intelligence. However, making content publicly accessible on the Website does not, by itself, constitute an express grant of permission to collect or reproduce NexByteLab’s protected content for unrestricted commercial reuse.

Except where permitted by applicable law or an expressly stated licence, NexByteLab does not grant permission to systematically scrape, reproduce, download, compile, or redistribute its original protected content for:

  • creating commercial AI or machine-learning training datasets;
  • training or fine-tuning commercial AI models;
  • building substantial content datasets or repositories;
  • reproducing NexByteLab content through automated publishing systems; or
  • creating services whose primary function substantially substitutes for access to the original NexByteLab content.

Organisations, researchers, or developers wishing to license NexByteLab content for datasets, model development, research projects, or other large-scale uses should contact NexByteLab for permission.

This section does not purport to restrict activities that are independently permitted under applicable law.

4. Licensing, Translation and Republication

Want to use something from NexByteLab? Please ask.

If you would like to:

  • republish an article;
  • translate NexByteLab material;
  • use an illustration or diagram;
  • include content in a book, course, presentation, or publication;
  • license material commercially;
  • incorporate substantial NexByteLab content into a dataset; or
  • obtain permission for another form of reuse,

please contact NexByteLab through the Contact page.

Permission requests will be considered based on the proposed use, attribution, audience, and material involved.

Where permission is granted, additional attribution or licensing conditions may apply.

Credits & Acknowledgments

NexByteLab exists within a much wider community of researchers, developers, open-source maintainers, educators, institutions, and practitioners working across artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, statistics, and technology.

None of this work exists in a vacuum, and credit belongs where it’s due.

NexByteLab aims to distinguish clearly between its own original work and the ideas, research, software, datasets, and other resources created by others.

5. Research & Academic Papers

When a NexByteLab article references, explains, analyses, or builds upon third-party research, we aim to identify and cite the original research and its authors and provide a link to the original publication or an appropriate authoritative source wherever reasonably possible.

Research summaries and explanations published by NexByteLab are intended to help make technical work understandable and accessible. They do not transfer ownership of the underlying research to NexByteLab.

Copyright and other intellectual-property rights in referenced papers remain with their respective authors, publishers, institutions, or other rights holders.

Readers conducting academic or professional research should consult and cite the original publication, rather than relying solely upon a NexByteLab explanation or summary.

6. Code Adapted from Public Repositories

Where a tutorial or experiment adapts meaningful code from a public repository, NexByteLab aims to identify the original repository or project and provide appropriate attribution where required.

Third-party code remains subject to its applicable licence.

Attribution by NexByteLab should not be interpreted as changing, replacing, or overriding the licence governing the original software.

Readers intending to reuse third-party code should review the licence supplied by the original project.

7. Open-Source Tools & Frameworks

Many NexByteLab tutorials, experiments, and research projects may use open-source software and frameworks created by the wider technology community.

These may include technologies such as PyTorch, Hugging Face libraries and tools, and other machine-learning, artificial-intelligence, data-science, visualisation, development, and research software.

Where relevant, tools and frameworks will be identified within the particular article, tutorial, experiment, or project in which they are used.

All third-party product names, project names, trademarks, software, and associated intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

Use of or reference to a third-party technology does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with NexByteLab unless expressly stated.

8. Datasets

Datasets used, discussed, or analysed in NexByteLab tutorials, experiments, or research articles will, where reasonably possible, be credited to their original source or maintainers within the relevant article.

Where available, NexByteLab aims to provide a link or reference enabling readers to locate the original dataset.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, NexByteLab does not claim ownership of third-party datasets.

Datasets may have their own:

  • licences;
  • attribution requirements;
  • research-use restrictions;
  • commercial-use restrictions;
  • privacy requirements; or
  • redistribution conditions.

Anyone using a dataset referenced by NexByteLab is responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms established by the original provider.

Original datasets created and released by NexByteLab may be accompanied by separate licensing terms.

9. Images, Illustrations and Diagrams

Original illustrations, diagrams, charts, infographics, and other visual material created specifically for NexByteLab are protected as applicable under intellectual-property law unless otherwise indicated.

Third-party images and visual resources remain the property of their respective rights holders and should be credited or licensed where required.

Where an image has been generated or materially created using artificial-intelligence technology, NexByteLab may identify it as AI-generated or AI-assisted where appropriate.

Such identification should not be interpreted as asserting copyright protection beyond whatever protection is available under applicable law.

10. AI-Assisted Content

NexByteLab may use artificial-intelligence tools to assist with research, ideation, coding, editing, illustration, analysis, or other parts of the content-development process.

Where AI tools make a material contribution to published content, appropriate disclosure may be provided.

NexByteLab aims to apply human review to published material and to verify significant factual claims and citations where appropriate.

The use of AI tools does not transfer ownership of third-party research, software, datasets, images, trademarks, or other intellectual property to NexByteLab.

Nor does NexByteLab claim copyright protection over AI-generated material beyond the protection, if any, available under applicable law.

11. Attribution Errors and Missing Credits

Despite reasonable efforts, attribution errors can occur.

If you are a researcher, author, developer, dataset maintainer, illustrator, photographer, educator, or other creator and believe that:

  • your work influenced material published on NexByteLab but was not appropriately credited;
  • an attribution is incorrect;
  • a source link points to the wrong resource;
  • your name or work has been incorrectly represented; or
  • a licence requires different attribution,

please contact NexByteLab through the Contact page.

Legitimate attribution issues will be reviewed and, where appropriate, corrected.

We would much rather fix a missing credit than leave one unacknowledged.

Copyright Infringement & DMCA

12. Reporting Copyright Infringement

NexByteLab respects the intellectual-property rights of others.

If you believe material published on NexByteLab infringes copyright that you own or are authorised to represent, please submit a copyright infringement notice through the designated contact method on the Website.

Your notice should preferably include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material on NexByteLab.
  3. The URL of the relevant NexByteLab page.
  4. Your name and appropriate contact information.
  5. An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised.
  6. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  7. A statement that the information supplied in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
  8. Your physical or electronic signature where applicable.

13. DMCA Notices

Where the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or another applicable notice-and-takedown procedure applies, NexByteLab intends to respond appropriately to valid copyright infringement notices.

Receipt of a complaint does not automatically establish copyright infringement.

NexByteLab may investigate the claim, request additional information, contact relevant parties where appropriate, and remove or restrict access to disputed material when reasonably necessary.

Where applicable, affected content providers may have rights to dispute or respond to a removal request under relevant law.

14. False or Misleading Copyright Claims

Copyright complaints should only be submitted where there is a genuine basis for alleging infringement.

Anyone submitting a notice is responsible for ensuring that the information supplied is accurate.

Knowingly submitting materially false or misleading copyright claims may have legal consequences under applicable law.

15. Guest Authors and Contributor Content

If NexByteLab accepts guest articles, community contributions, uploaded resources, or other contributor material, contributors are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights and permissions necessary to submit that material.

Contributors should appropriately identify and attribute third-party research, images, datasets, software, quotations, and other protected material incorporated into their submissions.

NexByteLab reserves the right to correct attribution, request supporting information, reject submissions, or remove material reasonably suspected of violating third-party intellectual-property rights.

16. Trademarks

NexByteLab’s name, logo, branding, and associated original brand assets may be protected by applicable trademark and intellectual-property laws.

Names, logos, trademarks, service marks, product names, software names, university names, company names, and other identifiers belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Reference to organisations, companies, universities, products, or technologies is generally for identification, education, commentary, or research purposes and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or partnership unless expressly stated.

17. Changes to This Policy

NexByteLab may update this Copyright, Content Use & DMCA Policy as the Website, publishing practices, technologies, or applicable legal requirements evolve.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
